Synopsis

Elizabeth and David McMichael were the perfect, all-American couple with bright futures and were very much in love. So what went wrong? When David returns from the military to surprise his wife one evening, for reasons unknown a terrified Elizabeth attacks him with a knife, resulting in his untimely death. Arrested for his murder, Elizabeth must undergo psychiatric evaluation in order to stand trial. With the help of well-regarded psychiatrist, Dr. Collins, and a kind orderly, Elizabeth begins to show signs of improvement. However, as a new doctor becomes involved in her treatment, Elizabeth’s tenuous hold on her mental health begins to fray yet again. What truly happened to Elizabeth on the night of David’s death; was it jealousy, obsession, or something beyond belief?
