Notes and Reactions...
- Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood earned three wins, which is more than any other movie. However, 1917’s two wins were a lot more prestigious and I would consider it the big winner of the night.
- Joker and Rocketman also both earned two wins, but again, their wins came in less prestigious categories.
- Missing Link won for Best Animated film... Wow. I was not expecting that. I’m not upset with this win, but it was by far the smallest film nominated, so I thought not enough voters would have seen it enough to win.
- Renée Zellweger won for Judy. Give her the damn Oscar already.
