Shadow's Reinforcements Arrive

Army of Shadows remained in first place on the per theatre charts this week.
In fact, the film's average grew by more than 9% to $13,775. Next up was the overall box office leader, Mission: Impossible III with $11,777 while fellow newcomer Art School Confidential was very close behind with $11,311.
The only other new limited release to make the top ten was Down in the Valley with $7,602, which placed it fourth overall.
The rest of the new releases all failed to find an audience with Crazy Like a Fox taking in $1,556, The Promise even lower at $1,281 and One Last Thing flopping, with just $436.
There was only one milestone this weekend as Thank You for Smoking topped $20 million.
But there were several films that were very close and should get there next weekend or shortly afterward.
