New at The Numbers: Movie Comparison Charts

We introduced our new comparison charts last Summer with an analysis of the Harry Potter franchise. The feature proved to be extremely popular, and today we're launching a major expansion of our comparison charts, starting with daily tracking of Avatar's progress towards box office records.

Over the weeks to come we'll be adding new comparison charts for other movies in release, as well as historic charts for franchise movies. We're also working on some interesting enhancements to the chart itself... look for updates on that in the weeks to come.

As usual, we welcome your feedback and suggestions. Let us know what you think, and how we can improve these charts in the future.
