Synopsis
It is summer in Budapest and Abel is about to take his final exams when he realises that he is hopelessly in love with his classmate Janka. She, however, loves the teacher Jakab, who in turn recently had a heated argument with Abel’s ultra-conservative father. The tensions within Hungarian society also suddenly come to the fore when Jakab’s history exam escalates into a national scandal.
